In case you haven't been to a sweet concert in a while...check out Coachella

Does it get any bigger than Coachella?  Located in Santa Cruz, Ca; This is one of the few concert events where there seem to be more celebs that attend than are performing!  With those on the guest list including John Mayer, Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth and Katy Perry and soon to be hubby Russel Brand it seems that Coachella appeals to the masses.  So for those that didn't have a chance to check it out and want to live vicariously through pictures and performances (like me) enjoy!

Kelly Clarkson's still got it!

Kelly Clarkson's latest single "All I Ever Wanted" definitely deserves some credit. I know Ms. Clarkson has gotten a lot flack for not producing as good of an album as Breakaway or a single as good as "Since You've Been Gone"  and I was certainly one who agreed with this, but I think she nailed it with her new single. It's catchy, edgy and sounds great! All I can say is, I hope the old Kelly is back for good.

Open up your ears and take a listen to Open till Midnight

Do you like to party late?  Well Open till Midnight may be just what you need to get your fix.  This up and coming New York based band really knows how to throw down; Their music consist of catchy hooks and smooth lead vocals thanks to Matt.  What is great about the group is that Matt, Ross, Jon, Keith and Mike seem to have such great chemistry and put together songs that you can rock out to or just sing a long to with the windows down on a long car ride.  If you happen to be in the New York or New Jersey area and Open till Midnight is playing a show,  definitely don't pass up the opportunity to see these guys!  You won't be disappointed.

Alyssa Milano Returns to the Big Screen

Although we haven't heard too much from her over the years Alyssa Milano will be making  a return to the big screen in just a week here in My Girlfriend's Boyfriend  While this certainly looks like your run of the mill romantic comedy there is a different feel this film.  It's not cheesed up.  It just seems, simple but not in a bad way.  Simple in the sense that it hasn't something great there and doesn't need to add a lot of fluff added to it.  It seems sweet and you seem to care about and feel for these three main characters.

Sex and the City 2...still sexy?

So it's almost time for the release of the second Sex and the City movie and to get us ready is the official full length trailer.  Now I got into the series after it was over but was pretty intrigued by these four women; So when I found out there was going to be a movie I just had to check it out!  And it wasn't half bad.  I truly believe that it is a daunting task to turn a series which takes many years to craft by developing story lines and characters into a feature film where everything is wrapped up in two hours.  Because of this, I gave the first Sex and the City movie  a lot of credit.  With the second was rapidly approaching can Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte still keep us entertained?  You be the judge.

Celebrity PSA's must be the new trend

Not that I have anything against getting involved and helping out society, but participating in psa's definitely seems to be the new thing to do.  I just hope that these celebs that are helping out actually care about what they are doing and just aren't simply jumping in blindly to a cause solely because it is the "it" thing to do.  I was particularly exited by this ad for TOMS shoes since it featured one of my favorite actresses Kristen Bell.

Megan Fox in her new role...as a do-gooder?

It's been a while since we've been on Megan Fox overload, I thought this would put a smile on everyone's face.  Megan Fox returns back to the spotlight in her new role in a PSA that is speaking out against budget cuts in California school's.  The video is funny, in a lame way.

Anna Paquin is bisexual and "People give a damn."

Recently, Anna Paquin of True Blood came out as bisexual in a promo video for Cyndi Lauper's "Give A Damn" foundation, which is fighting for equal rights for members of the LGBT community. Paquins announcement caused such a response that the website ended up crashing due to people trying to view the PSA. I commend Paquin for coming out in such a bold and and so very public way. What is truly interesting about this announcement is that it comes about a year after her engagement to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer. Paquin is not the only big name to help out with this cause; you will see familiar faces such as Jason Mraz, Eric Roberts and Elton John. Check out the Give a Damn website.

The Hills final season...

WHAT?! Say it ain't so... I can't believe it lasted this long, finally MTV has said enough to one of my favorite guilty pleasures, The Hills. Whether or not this crap is real or fake this final season seems to be the most outrageous yet! Kristen is back with a vengeance this season and Heidi and Spencer never disappoint.
