Anna Paquin is bisexual and "People give a damn."

Recently, Anna Paquin of True Blood came out as bisexual in a promo video for Cyndi Lauper's "Give A Damn" foundation, which is fighting for equal rights for members of the LGBT community. Paquins announcement caused such a response that the website ended up crashing due to people trying to view the PSA. I commend Paquin for coming out in such a bold and and so very public way. What is truly interesting about this announcement is that it comes about a year after her engagement to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer. Paquin is not the only big name to help out with this cause; you will see familiar faces such as Jason Mraz, Eric Roberts and Elton John. Check out the Give a Damn website.

Ellen continues to be Generous

Ellen is not only known for being a famous talk show host, she is also known for her kindness. She continues this on a daily basis. Most recently, she decided to contribute $30,000 in scholarship money to a gay teen who is in a battle with her school over canceling prom due to the fact that she wanted to bring her girlfriend. Hopefully, now that people with such large voices like ellen and the ACLU have gotten involved this young woman's voice will be heard and the school down south will change it's mind.
